The 8kW HZ Solar System provides solar generation, lithium battery storage and intelligent energy management for residential or small-business properties.
This package combines an 8kW HZ hybrid inverter with a 5.kWh lithium battery. In addition, six 600W solar panels provide 3.6kWp of total rated solar capacity.
During the day, the system can use available solar energy to supply compatible appliances. It can also direct excess solar generation to the lithium battery. As a result, stored energy can support selected loads during the evening or an electricity interruption.
Final equipment quantities and installation materials will follow the approved Premier Solar SA quotation and the property’s site requirements.
The 8kW HZ hybrid inverter manages electricity from the solar panels, SVolt lithium battery and utility supply.
First, the inverter uses available solar power to supply connected appliances. It can then use excess solar generation to recharge the battery. When solar production decreases, the inverter can use stored battery energy or available utility electricity.
The inverter can support compatible household and small-business equipment. However, the total simultaneous appliance demand must remain within its operating limits.
Battery output and available solar generation may also limit the power available during an electricity interruption. Therefore, Premier Solar SA recommends a professional load assessment before installation.
Six 600W solar panels provide a combined rated capacity of 3.6kWp under standard test conditions.
Actual daily solar production will vary. For example, roof direction, panel angle, shading, weather, location and seasonal conditions can affect output.
The 3.6kWp figure describes the panels’ combined rated capacity. It does not guarantee a fixed number of kilowatt-hours every day.
The 5kw Must/HZ/ lithium battery provides approximately 5.12kWh of nominal energy-storage capacity. It can store available solar or utility energy for later use.
For example, the battery can support selected appliances during the evening or an electricity interruption. However, actual usable capacity may be lower because of battery settings and operating limits.
Backup duration depends on:
Battery capacity does not guarantee a fixed number of backup hours. Therefore, an installer must calculate the expected load.
Subject to a professional load assessment, the system may support:
High-consumption appliances require careful planning. These may include electric geysers, ovens, stoves, heaters, kettles, pool pumps and multiple air conditioners.
For this reason, Premier Solar SA may recommend timers, load scheduling or separation between essential and non-essential circuits.
Customers connected to the Eskom network can review the official SSEG registration requirements before installation.
Qualified personnel must install and configure the system according to the property’s electrical supply, roof structure and energy requirements.
A site assessment may confirm:
After completing a compliant installation, a qualified electrician will issue an Electrical Certificate of Compliance within the agreed scope.
