The package includes 20 × 600W solar panels, providing approximately 12kWp of installed PV capacity under standard test conditions.
However, actual solar production varies according to location, weather conditions, panel orientation, roof angle and shading. Therefore, each installation should be configured according to the property’s individual requirements.
At the centre of the 16kW Deye Complete Solar System is a powerful Deye hybrid inverter. It manages energy between the solar panels, lithium batteries, utility supply and connected electrical loads.
In addition, remote monitoring allows customers to monitor system operation and energy performance through the supported monitoring platform.
Four 5kWh Deye lithium batteries provide approximately 20kWh of nominal battery storage. Consequently, the system offers substantial stored energy for evening use and backup applications.
Actual usable capacity and backup duration will depend on battery settings, connected appliances and overall electricity consumption.
Customers connected to the Eskom network can review the official SSEG registration requirements before installation.
Professional installation includes the required standard protection equipment, system commissioning and COC certification.
Installation requirements can vary according to the DB board, cable distances, roof structure and site conditions. Therefore, additional work outside the standard installation scope should be assessed before installation.
